Telkom-LAPAN to launch new satellite
Telkom, Indonesia's telecommunication company, together with LAPAN, Indonesia's space agency to launch new satellite next year. The satellite called Telkom-3 cost 200 million dollar US is now on its assembly in ISS-Reshetnev, Rusia.
The satellite, beside its commercial use could also be used to enhance Indonesia's ICT infrastructure as well as to boost defense and military system.
